This training series of six modules offers a comprehensive introduction adaptive clinical trial designs – a compelling new way of doing clinical research where trial parameters can be modified during the trial to respond to emerging research findings. All six modules are now available to watch with a (free) myERS account .
After following these training modules, participants should be able to: -Describe the most relevant types of adaptive trial designs.
- Explain the advantages and disadvantages of different types of adaptive trial designs.
- Explain when to use specific types of adaptive trial designs.
- Appropriately interpret published findings from adaptive trial designs
An online CME Test will be made available at the end of the series. Upon successful completion of the CME Test, participants will be awarded a certificate with 12 continuing medical education (CME) credits, accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP).
